The keynote speaker is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scunning.com\/\">Scott Cunningham<\/a>, Ben H. Williams Professor of Economics at Baylor University. Scott has written extensively on issues including sex work, domestic violence, and drug policy (he is also author of &#8216;Causal Inference: The Mixtape&#8217; and hosts &#8216;The Mixtape Podcast with Scott Cunningham&#8217;). His keynote address is entitled, &#8220;Addressing Suicide and Mental Health Challenges in American Prisons and Jails: Insights and Innovations.&#8221; There will be paper presentations throughout the day on a range of issues which will be of interest to academic staff, PhD students and policymakers, especially those with a focus on crime and criminal justice policy, as well as opportunities for discussion and networking over coffee and lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Attendance at the workshop is free.
